This is a travel journal, which starts with my Summer Study of the US Institutes activities. Apart from the phonetic inclusion of my nickname in "locate", I chose it because it's easily tied to traveling and adventures. So, these blog posts are my locations geographically, emotionally and mentally. Like, Where am I? Where is my heart at? Where is my mind? Where do my thoughts float off to? ;)

- Filipina: by blood, citizenship, culture and heart
- Iskolar ng Bayan: Junior at the University of the Philippines Diliman; the national university of the country
- Social Media Hogger: Not the worst/best case of it, but I have Facebook, Twitter, Plurk, Tumblr, Blogger, Wordpress and Multiply
- SUSI on New Media 2010 participant: It follows that as a social media nut, I'm interested in New Media
- Self-image and beauty paranoid: Everyday, I count calories and hope to God (seriously) that no one calls me or any curvy girl fat. I'm waiting for people and media's view on female beauty to accommodate slim bodies, full-figures and everything in between. It's a cliche, and I don't have a formula for it, but I feel very strongly about this issue.
- A family-person-in-progress: just recently, I've been going out of my way (or more rightfully back on my correct ways) to be a better daughter, niece and a sister. I love my brother. That needs special mention. :)
- A Leo - True to the stereotype: Emotional, headstrong, sensitive, a lover & a fighter, aggressive and such
